Fly Fishing Gear Recommendations:
- Rod: 9' - (8 wt. or 9 wt.) .......... 12wt. for Summer Tarpon
- Lines: Our Primary Line - Intermediate Sinking Clear Tip
- Leaders: 7 1/2'- 9' 14-20lb. commercial leader. Alternatively, you can make your own with three sections of mono: 3.5 feet of 40 lb., 2.5 feet of 20lb. and 2 feet of 15lb. tippet. Or, simply use a 6'- 7' single piece of 15-20lb. flurocarbon.
- Flies: Clousers - Size 4 to 2/0 in Chartreuse/White, Brown/White, Black/White and Black. Deceivers - Size 4 to 2/0 in Red/White, Chartreuse/White, Brown/White and Black/White.
